Customer Review: Best choice for the first time dslr buyer who wants to stay amateur/ hobbyist
This one is for first time dslr buyers who do not want to go the nikon or canon way, yeah theres olympus, pentax, lumix, so on…so whats special about the Sony A200? The A100 has proved that Sony can live up to the levels of the big players. The A200 has a feature set for a price a 100-300 $ cheaper than rivals…
….thats not it….
I made up my mind on the A200 only after I played with in the store, it felt great on my hands, more like a mid range than entry level, and the most ergonomic. Do not decide solely on internet reviews and flickr images, you have to feel and handle a camera before you buy, and then you can decide if you really want to spend an extra 300 on the canon.
Picture quality is much better than the best point and shoots, but the bundled lens is average. Like any dslr you have to invest in better lenses, may be next year…..
Its a great choice for an entry dslr to learn and grow with.
Customer Review: A great DSLR
This is a great DSLR at an amazing price. It is a very sophisticated camera yet easy to use. The fucntions you need to change most often are easily accessable, not buried in a menu.

Customer Review: Perfection.
I recently purchased this Sony Cybershot model. This camera is amazing in every way. The pictures come out crystal clear and bright on the camera and computer. I took a picture of a bee on a flower and set it as my desktop. The picture is so clear and vibrant, even enlarged, that I can’t help but stare. Even I, an impatient teenager, have no problems with shutter lag. I snapped pictures of road signs from a moving car on the high way and still managed to get clear and readable signs. I have nothing to complain about. The only thing is, I would suggest purchasing a second battery, as this fun to use camera will have you snapping away. Before you know it the battery is gone. Also the charger that comes with it is untimely sluggish. No complaints about the camera. Sony has made perfection.
Customer Review: great camera, surpased my expectations
This camera has tons of ingeneous features. My favousite is the smile feature, lots of my friends do not smile for pictures and now I create goofy smiles on them. Also the setting that takes the pictures automatically once the person in the picture smiles is great. I love the huge screen. I was very impressed with the technology.
Down-side:I am not a gadget/ technology person and did not know I had to purchase a memory card with the camera. It is a little thicker than I thought, but no big problem.
I love my camera and all the avaiable accessories for it.

Customer Review: Excellent teensy camera
I may be the least ept photographer in the world. I have long sought a very small digital camera with automatic settings that even I could understand. Sadly I have a number of cameras that did not fit this requirement. This camera fits the bill perfectly. It has a view finder in addition to the focus frame, another thing that I wanted. I’m a lot more successful with a view finder than trying to center something in the focus frame. The picture quality is excellent and I have had no problem using it. Given my lack of eptness, this is an amazing thing. I highly recommend this little treasure.
Customer Review: GREAT DEAL!!!
I’ve had the DSC-W55 before and decided to buy this model. It’s really nice. Love the quality of pictures. Very easy- to- use camera, specially made for starters. And the memory stick duo adaptor… great idea!
The bad thing…. if you have big fingers, you are gonna have a little problem with the buttons of the camera.

Sony Cybershot DSCW150/B 8.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black)

Sony - Comments Off - Posted on August, 6 at 11:33 am

Sony Cybershot DSCW150/B 8.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black) Take stunning shots in a variety of conditions. The Sony DSC-W150 Cyber-shot(R) 8.1-Megapixel Digital Camera features an Intelligent Scene mode, which automatically selects the right settings for your environment. Smile Shutter technology lets you instantly capture smiles the moment they happen. A Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom lens and Sony’s Double Anti-Blur solution provide crisp, clear images. Because an off-center subject can make your shot more interesting, a 9-point auto-focus measures the focus at 9 precision points instead of 5 for a greater creative freedom to compose your image. A large, bright 2.7″ Clear Photo LCD display includes an anti-reflective coating that provides for excellent visibility to help you compose, view, and share photos with superb clarity and color reproduction, even in bright sunlight. Face Detection technology automatically controls focus, exposure, color, and flash to help reveal faces in shadows, make skin tones look more natural, reduce red-eye, and eliminate harsh facial glare, so your photos bring out every expression on every face in every shot. A built-in optical viewfinder lets you compose your photos in traditional rangefinder camera style and helps save battery power by turning off your LCD display. Shutter Speed - Auto (1/4 - 1/1,600) / Program Auto (1 - 1/1,600) ISO - Auto, 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 Flash Modes - Auto, Flash On, Slow Syncro, and Flash Off Scene Modes - Auto, Easy Shooting, Program Auto, Movie, High Sensitivity, Twilight, Twilight Portrait, Soft Snap, Landscape, Beach, Snow, Fireworks, Smile Shutter, and Underwater Movie Modes - MPEG VX Fine with Audio (640×480 at 30fps), MPEG VX Standard with Audio (640×480 at 16fps), 320 (QVGA, 320 x 240, Approx.8.3fps) Operating System - Microsoft 2000 Professional, Me, XP Home and Professional, Macintosh OS 9.1, 9.2, and OS X (10.0-10.4)
Customer Review: Great Little Camera
I bought this camera as a birthday present for my son, and he tells me that it takes great pictures. I cannot give a better review because I am not using it myself, but he’s happy with it, and the pictures that he emailed me look great. I might consider buying another one for my other son.
Customer Review: Picture quality for printing and viewing on a computer is not good
I bought this camera to replace an aging Kodak Z730. I wanted a compact camera that would take great pictures with a decent optical zoom (this one has 5X) and an eyepiece viewer. This camera (the DSC-W150) seemed to have everything I was looking for. On the large Sony LCD my pictures look spectacular (clear, sharp, etc.), but when I connect the camera to my computer or bring the memory card to a store to print pictures, the quality of my pictures changes dramatically for the worse. The pictures from the Sony camera come out unclear, blurry, etc. My old Kodak camera takes much better pictures than this Sony one does.
All I can say is buyer beware on this camera.

Customer Review: A versatile gadget
I’m quite fond of the Sony megazoom series of cameras, and I recently upgraded from a Sony DSC-H1 to DSC-H50. I was actually still quite happy with the H1, more than 3 years after buying it, but a couple of features on the H50 made me invest in the new model:

Sony Cybershot DSCT300/B 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black)

Sony Cybershot DSCT300/B 10.1MP Digital Camera with 5x Optical Zoom with Super Steady Shot (Black) 10.1-megapixel effective recording * 5X optical zoom (2X digital/10X total zoom) * 3-1/2″ touchscreen LCD with anti-reflective coating * 35mm equivalent lens focal length: 33-165mm * top JPEG resolution: 3648 x 2736 * Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization * high sensitivity mode (ISO 3200) for low-light shooting without flash *
Customer Review: Great little bundle of features, but with a pinch of salt
Its an exciting little camera and is definitely an eye grabber with with its 3.5″ LCD display. I was initially a bit reluctant to buy this one seeing the reviews on CNet and other sites. Yes, the image quality is not worth $400 and you can get the same images for 100 bucks less but its sporty look and finish is what made me crave for this beauty. The red metallic frame looks very funky. People actually come to you and start chatting about the camera when they see T300 in your hand. This has happened to me more than once. It does not have protruding lens system and can still go upto 5x zoom which is very helpful for some special shots. The little zoom knob on the top corner is very simple to use and makes the zooming experience a lot better. The sliding cover is good but it is not comfortable to grab the camera while taking a shot as it is too thin to maintain a good grip. I had a canon SD1000 and the quality of images is much better with T300. It has a lot of good features like multi-mode face detection and smile shutter (though smile shutter is practically of no use as it is a very limited technology) It is highly portable and ultra compact.

Customer Review: Techno Geeks Review.
To start things off, please. Do not listen to the reviewers who said that the lens is poor. The lens on this camera, when compared to the lens on the Canon Sd790IS, Sd1100IS, and SD770IS, simply trumps them in every way - from middle to the extreme corners of the image. The canon, however, becomes very blury toward the edges giving a kind of “motion” feeling - not the sony.
