The price is right, the product works but the battery does not hold a charge for very long. I find I use it only as long as it takes to recharge my Panasonic battery. Still, it is very useful that way.

I didnt get this camera for myself, it’s my sister’s. She loves it. She told me it’s a little bit complicated, because it has so many functionalities. But it’s worth investigating and learning. I know Lumix, and the pictures are pretty great for a point and shoot.
Also, i really like the pictures this camera takes with flash. I own 2 cameras, one SLR and one point and shoot. My point and shoot doesnt take very good pics with flash. It’s a great PRO for Lumix in my opinion.
You’re not going to be dissapointed with this camera…plus the size it’s perfect, not to big, not so tiny it’s impossible to use!

I purchased this camera in preparation for a vacation to Alaska and it met or exceeded all my expectations. The 18x zoom with image stabilization was very effective capturing long range wildlife shots while the normal (1x) zoom took great wide angle scenery shots.

It works. It holds a charge. It charges in the same charger that came with the camera. Good buy for the money. The only thing that could still be a problem in the future is if it dies before its time.

Customer Review: Works Great and Smooth Setup
Was a little skeptical when I bought this just because I have not had very good experiences with “networked” hardware except for the basic wireless access setup. But to my surprise and relief, this was a very well designed product paired with smart software. It took me about 1hr to get it fully setup and ready to play. It has an ok internal memory buffer (think it holds only about 100 or so images at 640×480), I do wish it had a little more memory. But I setup an ftp server on my PC and it now just sends the images continuously back to my PC so I can either archive them or make them into a movie! This experience has definitely put Panasonic on my “must consider” list for consumer electronic products.

By far, this web cam works as it should be. the image and sound quality are good. The only cons is the setting up the wireless connection with the router was a little bit tricky. However, after google for while I was able to make it work.

Can’t ask for an easier to use menu interface. Great pictures. Umpteen picture taking modes. Everything is automatic, meaning there is no manual aperture or exposure settings. Having just gotten this recently, I was surprised the easy the shooting mode dial turns… maybe too easy. in fact, I wonder if it’s loose… anybody owning same, please comment.
