Customer Review: The only flash I need!
I bought the Nikon SB 800 flash for my Nikon D50 after the built in flash stopped working. I quickly realized that it was a wonderful flash, and very powerful, but much too large. I started shopping around for other options, and bought the SB 400 not long after. It is less than half the size of the 800, but just as powerful as far as the flash goes. There are more features and gizmos on the 800, but I found that I never used those anyway. I just wanted a flash that would work! And this does that and still has perks:

Nikon MB-D10 Multi Power Battery Pack for Nikon D300 & D700 Digital SLR Cameras MBD 10 For NIkon D300 Digital Camera includes MS-D10EN for use with EN-EL3e battery (sold separately)
Customer Review: Excellent Accessory
If you were to get an accessory for your d300 this would be it. Feels great and solid in your hands. It helps the over all balance with a long lens. I’ve been using the AA Enelopes batteries and have taken about 1000 actuations.
Customer Review: Excellent quality but…
The overall quality of the grip is exceptional. This is not a cheap plastic grip. It is rubberized, sturdy and sealed and comes with an insert for 8 AA batteries and a second insert for a EN-EL3 battery. The second dial works great. It’s very comfortable (ergonomic)
The only flaw (and it’s a big one if you ask me) is that the shutter button on the grip is way more sensitive than the one on the camera. Very annoying for this expensive product.

Customer Review: Great camera for serious photographer
This is a fantastic camera. I upgraded from D200 and happy that Nikon made the D300. They have changed around many of the menu items I was use to from my D200, but that is worth the better quality when I shoot at higher ISO’s. I higly recommend for any serious photographer.
Customer Review: Outstandng camera
Instant on, immediate take when you push the shutter button, focuses instantly on what you want depending on how you set the focus area, and takes better pictures than my Maxxum 7 did. I currently use only one lens, the 18 - 200; but plan on getting another soon with faster aperture for fine work. I currently use mine for travel when backpacking; but also for pictures in the ER where I work. These I use for teaching purposes for the medical students who rotate with us. A very fine piece of hardware that works as advertised.

Customer Review: Read Reveiws; Read Manual; Enjoy
I have owned 4 Canons in the last 10 years and cannot not complain for the quality in materials and performance. I was hesitant to change to Nikon since I’m somehow acquainted with Canon’s “point n’shoot” strenghts and weaknesses. I don’t regret having changed. The camera is very good and the menu is really easy to navigate.
Nikon’s P80 is great; but you need to read the manual and take a trip out for a weekend to try different combinatioins in different lighting conditions. I have tried it at the beach with the kids running around; birds walking at the beach; lizards at tree branches; and fireworks at night. Nothing but great results.
The various shooting options that you get with this camera and the many many perks are the perfect step-up from straight forward point n’ shoot to more flexible shooting. I’m more than satisfied with my purchase.
The only two cons so far are; (i) horrible lens cap (I would pay 10% more to get a self-retractible lens cap) and (ii) plastic of camera body feels a bit cheap (I guess I’m just used to Canon’s metal body).
Customer Review: Love the Nikon Coolpix P80 camera!
Fabulous camera… even for the shaky beginner, it takes flawless pictures.

Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom Nikkor Lens for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras The AF-S VR 70-300 f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED is a high-performance super telephoto zoom lens that has been designed to meet the demands of both digital and 35mm format SLR users. It offers a 4.3x zoom with a range of 70-300mm (105-450mm on a DX Nikon D-SLR) and features ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements that ensure superior optical performance. This lens incorporates Nikon’s second-generation vibration reduction system (VR II) that allows flexible hand-held shooting by stabilizing the image to the equivalent extent of using a shutter speed that is four stops faster when compared with a conventional lens (as determined by Nikon performance test). The SWM (Silent Wave Motor) and IF (Internal Focusing) ensure fast and quiet focusing action, and the nine-blade rounded diaphragm makes out-of-focus elements blend smoothly to produce natural-looking, harmonious backgrounds.
Customer Review: Great lens
So I was deciding between the 18-200mm and the 70-300mm lenses. I have a d40 which came with a great 18-55mm kit lens, so after much deliberation, I came to the conclusion to go with the 70-300mm. I reasoned that the gap from 50-70mm isn’t a big deal for me (I have 2 perfectly functional feet, after all). The 70-300mm was also considerably cheaper.

Customer Review: Great camera
Very fast camera. I’ve taken several pics in low light environments without the use of the flash and have excellent quality images. Also the VR feature has saved many shots taken from a moving vehicle. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a point & shoot camera.Nikon Coolpix S600 10MP Digital Camera with 4x Wide Angle Optical Zoom with Vibration Reduction (Slate Black)
Customer Review: Beware the dreaded “lens error”
Very clever, capable and pocketable P&S, but far too fragile for most purposes. My S600 became a piece of junk in <3 weeks of routine use after succumbing to the fatal and all-too-common "lens error". None of the user fixes described on the internet could revive it.

Customer Review: Small and Easy
Pros: Besides the color is very beautiful is a camera that meets all the requirements for a good photo.
Cons: Penalty that the loading of the battery is not the USB.
Customer Review: Very Disappointed in Picture Quality
I have to agree with other reviewers who said there were too many blurry pictures. I took over 70 pictures on the day I received this camera. Only five or six turned out good. My last digital camera was a Canon PowerShot A510 with 3.2 mp. I have many hundreds (maybe thousands) of excellent pictures from that camera. The Coolpix was very disappointing. What good is 10 mp when the pictures are blurred? Right away I boxed up the Coolpix and returned it to Amazon. I ordered the Canon PowerShot SX100 IS and received it today. Took about 30 pictures and only had a couple of blurry ones. OPTICAL IMAGE STABILIZER IS VERY IMPORTANT! This camera is not small and sleek but the weight and contour make picture taking very much more stable and comfortable. This 8 mp is the camera I’m going to keep and enjoy. And the 10x optical zoom is fantastic.
