Garmin GDB 50 MSN Direct Replacement Receiver for Nuvi 680 and StreetPilot c580

Garmin - Comments Off - Posted on September, 3 at 5:00 pm

Garmin GDB 50 MSN Direct Replacement Receiver for Nuvi 680 and StreetPilot c580 Every Garmin product is designed to meet the most demanding standard: customers’ satisfaction. That’s why Garmin equipment is manufactured to give you reliable service for years to come, with intuitive features you can grow into over time - all at a price you can afford.
Customer Review: A must have Garmin accessory
This Garmin product is worth every penny. I use it daily to get traffic updates and avoid slow routes. After a short download, everything you will need on the road is available. I use it to find the local gas stations with the lowest prices. The weather feature is great- both for the current day and the extended forecast. There are too many other additional features to mention. The potential gas price savings alone makes this an invaluable Garmin accessory.
Customer Review: MSN direct receiver
Works great. Easy to use, just plug in and then activate on your pc. A little on the expensive side though.

Pentax AF540FGZ Flash for Pentax and Samsung Digital SLR Cameras (Includes Case)

Pentax - Comments Off - Posted on September, 3 at 5:00 am

Pentax AF540FGZ Flash for Pentax and Samsung Digital SLR Cameras (Includes Case) The AF540FGZ Electronic-Flash unit features a large guide number of 54 (at ISO 100) and provides a variety of advanced flash applications, including advanced P-TTL auto flash, high-speed synchronisation and wireless P-TTL auto flash (when mounted on a Pentax SLR camera). When mounted on a Pentax auto-focus SLR (after the Z-10 and including digital format models) equipped with an FA-, FA J-, DFA- or DA- series lens, the AF540FGZ automatically adjusts its angle of discharge to the lens’ focal length. The AF540FGZ auto-flash unit also features a newly provided ‘Digital’ position on the focal-length conversion scale of the zoom head which can accommodate digital SLRs, Bounce Flash function with adjustable angles of -10 to 90 degrees vertically and up to 180 degrees horizontally, and Power-zoom flash head to cover angles of view for 24mm to 85mm lenses (in 35mm format). It is compatible with a range of batteries, and is able to run on either 4x AA alkaline batteries, 4x AA lithium batteries or 4x AA Ni-MH batteries. We advise using rechargeable batteries. External LCD indication - Format; Flash mode; Zoom; Channel; ISO speed; Discharge level compensation; Spotbeam; F number; Discharge level; Wireless mode; Bounce flash warning; Sync mode; Discharge distance; Out-of-coupling-range warning. LED illumination available
Customer Review: this flash is not worthy to sit atop a Pentax K20D
I am a part-time wedding/event photographer who uses Pentax system (as of summer 2008 I have a K20D, K10D and an *ist DS). I own two Pentax AF540 FGZ units and my experience with both of them is decidedly mixed. The new Pentax K20D is one of the best cameras avaialable today for any price. The Pentax 540 FGZ flash, on the other hand, is old, badly designed and badly built. It’s not worthy to sit atop the K20D.

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras

Canon - Comments Off - Posted on September, 3 at 5:00 am

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras Bring your photographic subjects closer with this Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Image Stabilizer Telephoto Zoom Lens. It is designed with Canon’s Optical Image Stabilizer technology and is compact and light. This high zoom ratio lens is equivalent to a focal length of 88-400mm in the 35mm format (when used on Canon EOS cameras compatible with EF-S lenses). The image stabilizer effect is equivalent to a shutter speed about 4 stops faster than the same size lens without Image Stabilizer. In other words, if the slowest shutter speed you could formerly hold a 250mm lens steadily was 1/250th of a second, with Canon’s 4-stop stabilization correction, you could hand-hold at shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second. It also uses a UD-glass lens element to correct chromatic aberration for excellent image quality throughout the zoom range.

Filter Size - 58mm Max. Diameter - x Length 2.8 in. x 4.3 in./70 x 108mm (maximum lens length) Weight - 13.8 oz./390g Canon 1 year limited warranty
Customer Review: Canon EF-s 55-250 Zoom
Outstanding Lens. This is my third lens for my Canon Digital Rebel XTi. Would highly recommend over the 70-300 non image stabilized canon lens. The Image stabilizer makes all the difference in photo quality when zoomed in on far away objects. I cannot say enough about this lens. I used it at the zoo, and never switched it out with any other lens. You can use it for pretty close up, but also very far away objects. Never felt like I couldn’t get close enough to the what I was taking a picture of. Very reliable and fast focusing as well. Great at sporting events.
Customer Review: Lens works great!
For the money the lens is a great value. It has a stabilizer and my phtos look great.

TomTom 9S00.080 Carrying Case

TomTom - Comments Off - Posted on September, 3 at 5:00 am

TomTom 9S00.080 Carrying Case CASE, ONE XL CARRY CASE & STRAP
Customer Review: TomTom One XL, A Good Product!
This is the 2nd Tom Tom One XL I have purchased. It is very affordable through Amazon rather than through Tom Tom Home web site. It performs well but the battery life of the non-replaceable battery is the draw back for me. For 2 1/2 hour trips I have to plug it in to the automobile power
Customer Review: TomTom Carrying Case
I was not happy with the carrying case. I returned the carrying case for my TomTom One XL-S. Too tight of a fit. Had to take the back off the GPS system to fit in case. I purchased a “camera” bag which allows me to put the whole GPS system (GPS and holder) in the bag without having to take it apart each time I remove it from the car!

Navigon 2100 GPS Navigator

Navigon - Comments Off - Posted on September, 3 at 5:00 am

Accurate door-to-door directions, stunning 2D and 3D map views, and easy touchscreen menus in an ultra-slender portable design make the 2100 a standout among even higher-priced GPS devices. Feature for feature, the NAVIGON 2100 delivers a more innovative and meaningful navigation experience than systems at twice the price.
Customer Review: Navigon 2100
I bought this unit about a month ago. I have been to 5 states and used it often. I can tell you it does better than Tom Tom or Garmin. It recaculates your route MUCH faster than Tom Tom or Garmin. No doubt it has half the points of intrest not been a issue for me. I can’t see that i need 6 million points of intrest. It’s shows every gas station resturant even small mom and pop food, motels and car rentals & much much more. And at HALF the cost i couldn’t be happier. Do your home work before you buy I have seen this unit sold from $149.00-$219.00. If traffic jams are a issue for you look for a bundle package. Navigon WILL charge you $99.00 for the traffic card. Many sellers (here) have the 2100 as a bundle for about $169.00 with the traffic card.Unlike Garmin it’s a one time purchase no monthly fee’s.
