This remote control is both rugged and very small. I accidentally washed and dried this remote because I forgot it in my pocket and it was small enough that the casual check missed it but it came through the incident working perfectly. Pentax makes some rugged stuff. I’m thinking about gluing it to something bigger or getting the battery grip. The battery grip has a compartment for the remote. Oh, and it also works nicely as a remote control.

I’ve used this off and on for a couple of years - works great with my *ist DS DSLR. Only drawback I can think of is that it won’t lock the shutter open when using “bulb” - you have to continue to hold the button.

The protective cover is a bit small (SHORT) for the camera (SD 870 IS)though it is intended for that model. So it take quite a bit of pushing before the button can be closed.
The leather of the cover also came scratched.

Great case for SD890. It fits the camera very nicely. The belt loop is very tight against the case; so, if you have a thick belt, it will be very tight.

The Flip Video Ultra is a product I am very happy to have purchased. I previously used an old model Sony camcorder that my dad bought at a pawn shop. I would mostly capture footage of me and my friends weekend parties and the occasional trip. While effective, it became a problem when others asked to see the footage and I could only show them in person due to the old tape format.
This problem has been solved with the Flip Video Ultra. Now I can capture video and instantly plug its usb port into a computer for easy uploading with the included software. The video captured is of decent quality with a 2x zoom when needed, and up to 60 minutes of video can be captured at a time.
This camcorder fits in your hand and has a simple yet stylish design that is sleek and modern. In addition the cell-phone size of this camcorder makes it very convenient to carry in a pocket, and can go wherever you go.
