This bag is an excellent value, especially for the price. It is very well made of durable material, and the zippers also seem (so far) to be able to hold-up to the constant zipping/un-zipping…It has PLENTY of pockets and compartments for your lenses, miscellaneous gear, manuals and it even holds your tripod on the bottom of the backpack.
The only disappointment to me, is the compartment for notebook storage is not large enough to hold my 15″ MacBook Pro. Bummer, but….it’s not that big of a deal.

It serves my needs in every way!

If you want a good product stay away from Tom Tom products. I have used 3 different products from tom tom and maybe I’m a slow learner or tom tom has bad products, just stay away from tom tom so many better gps units to buy that are better. I decided to return the tom tom products and buy a Navstar and soooo much better and graphics so much better. Stay away from tom tom and buy a navstar or just look past a tom tom.

I hate to be disparaging about fellow shoppers but they seem pretty clueless. First of all, the protector is sandwiched between 2 protective thin plastic shields. The stickers that everyone is complaining about are there to help with peeling the shield off the protector - and they do that very well. I guess these people can’t read cause it says right on the sticker to use it to help peel the protective layer off. Sheesh! It comes with a small cleaning cloth to get rid of smudges. I think 4 in the pack is a good deal (especially with free shipping - thanks Amazon). They fit the Navigon 7100 perfectly. I used one for my 7100 and the other for my wife’s unit. Then I trimmed down the 2 other pieces to fit our cell phones. Even if we only had one 7100 you will probably need the extra in case you make a mistake applying the first one. The trick is to make sure the screen is clean and free of dust then apply the protector slowly. Next push out any trapped air bubbles by rubbing them with the small cloth. One thing you absolutely cannot do is try to peel off and reposition the protector once it is applied - this will leave permanent smudges on the sticky side of the protector - thus the second one will come in handy. The plastic looks very sturdy and should last for the life of the unit - or until it somehow gets ruined by my wife’s fingernail polish.

My first impression of this case was that it’s kinda bulky, compared to the other Garmin case. But after observing how my 5-year-old daughter likes to play with the MP3 feature on the Nuvi 760, I’ feel more at ease knowing that this cover will do a better job at protecting the unit than the other Garmin case (which acts only as a housing). It’s well designed and has pretty good leather material for the price.

I want to echo the praises of my fellow-reviewers by saying this is one top-notch GPS system!! My wife and I went hiking up the North Shore of Lake Superior last week and the 76CSx exceeded our expectations. It acquired the satellite signals quickly and never lost them, even in very deep woods; the screen was bright and detailed; the trip odometer and altimeter were amazingly accurate; and after hours of hiking the batteries (Energizer rechargables) were still going strong.
